Da es in modernen Anlagen in schonender Weise hergestellt wird, ist die Peroxidzahl (Maß für die Oxidation) von Beginn an sehr gering. Daher wird Lanolin EP ELP normalerweise nicht stabilisiert. Dennoch wird eine Haltbarkeit von 2 Jahren garantiert.
